About

Brazilian Society of Plastic Surgery was founded in 1948, in São Paulo, with the aim of promoting and improving the study of plastic surgery in Brazil. Today, the SBCP is made up of approximately 6,700 plastic surgeons, including members, associates and aspiring members.

To join the SBCP, the interested party must be a doctor with three years of specialization in general surgery, three years of plastic surgery in a service accredited by the SBCP and/or MEC, take and pass a written and oral exam, to then become a specialist member. in plastic surgery. The Brazilian Society of Plastic Surgery has its national headquarters in São Paulo and 21 regional offices in 20 capitals across the country.

Its boards are elected by vote of members for an administrative term of two years. Periodically, scientific meetings are held where members can update their scientific knowledge.
At the head of the society have been renowned plastic surgeons from the Brazilian and global medical scene, bringing advancement, pride and respect to the members of our specialty.
