Mission
The Brazilian Society of Plastic Surgery (SBCP) is one of the largest associations in the world in the specialty. Founded in 1948, it is the official body of the Brazilian Medical Association and the Federal Council of Medicine to grant the Title of Specialist in Plastic Surgery.
SBCP's mission is to promote and provide international competitiveness with a high standard of education and training, with ethics, humanism and professional practice, and to generate and disseminate knowledge and public education through its scientific events.

Integrated Policy: Quality and Anti-Bribery
SBCP declares in its Integrated Policy its commitment to:
- Provide quality education, training and scientific meetings services, aiming for excellence and satisfaction of its customers and/or associates.
- Meet legal, statutory, regulatory requirements and applicable anti-corruption laws;
- Promote the continuous improvement and effectiveness of the Quality and Anti-Bribery Management System, through humanized, strategic and innovative guidance;
- Provide services with transparency and ethics, helping to increase and consolidate the trust and satisfaction of associates and partners.
- Act so that professionals can be increasingly trained and perfected, always acting in compliance with ethical, humanitarian and legal principles and in compliance with the anti-bribery requirements implemented in our Society.
- Prohibit payments and receipt of bribes, guiding everyone in relation to the Code of Ethics and Conduct and established policies.
- Investigate and deal with complaints received, ensuring secrecy, confidentiality and non-retaliation.
- Ensure total independence and authority in accordance with the requirements of the standard, committee and compliance office;
- Failure to comply with the Anti-Bribery policy and management system requirements will result in disciplinary action under current laws.
Objectives of Quality and Anti-Bribery Processes
- Provide excellence in service with a focus on members;
- Articulate and strengthen the network of strategic partners and suppliers;
- Provide education, training and scientific management services with quality, ethics and transparency and monitor processes as well as their results;
- Offer events that provide interested parties with knowledge of new technologies, humanized and innovative procedures, increasing partnerships and strengthening existing ones;
- Maintain internal training to empower employees;
- Develop measures to prevent and detect illegal acts against SBCP and its interested parties;
- Encourage the use of the internal and external communication channel to receive and register complaints regarding misconduct and complaints, preserving the identity of the complainant.
